EōS Fitness Accelerates Growth With Acquisitions and Reinvestment in Q1 2026
April 9, 2026
Rapid expansion and reinvestment move the HVLP brand closer to 250 gyms by 2030
DALLAS — April 9, 2026 — EōS Fitness, the High Value. Low Price.® (HVLP) gym chain with more than 225 locations open or on the way nationwide, opened 2026 with strong momentum as the brand continued to scale across core markets. EōS acquired 14 gyms, signed 11 new leases and opened three new locations, reinforcing its long-term growth strategy and commitment to reinvesting in the member experience. The continued expansion brings EōS closer to its goal of operating 250 gyms by 2030 while maintaining a sharp focus on consistency, innovation, value and accessibility.
EōS Acquires 14 Big-Box Gym Locations Across Four States
Year to date, EōS has acquired 14 gyms across Arizona, California, Florida and Texas. Each location will undergo a full redesign before reopening as EōS Fitness over the next year. These renovations are designed to transform the traditional big-box gym spaces into the high-energy, modern fitness environments EōS is known for.
EōS locations feature dedicated strength and performance zones, immersive lighting and sound and AI technology integrated throughout. Specialized group fitness studios, dedicated recovery-focused spaces and flexible training areas are intentionally designed to push beyond the standard gym model while remaining accessible and affordable.
“Our growth this quarter reflects strategic expansion paired with purposeful reinvestment,” said Rich Drengberg, chief executive officer of EōS Fitness. “We are scaling with intention by entering the right markets, upgrading facilities at scale and continuing to raise expectations for what value driven fitness can deliver.”
New Openings, New Leases and Continued Reinvestment
Beyond acquisitions, EōS opened three new gyms and signed 11 new leases in Q1, further strengthening its presence in high-growth markets. The company also reinvested $10 million into existing gyms during the quarter, maximizing gym floor layouts and elevating technology and functionality overall.
“For us, opening new gyms is about more than adding locations,” said Richard Idgar, chief operating officer of EōS Fitness. “We focus on building environments that operate efficiently and feel exceptional for our members. That operational discipline allows us to grow quickly while maintaining a consistent, premium experience across all markets.”
EōS is also expanding its footprint in Los Angeles with a $6 million renovation at 8000 Sunset Blvd. in partnership with Kimco Realty. Expected to open in 2027, the project will add to EōS’ Southern California presence, which now includes more than 53 locations open or on the way.
Q1 2026 Gym Openings:
· Casa Grande, Ariz.: 1214 E Florence Blvd., Suite 1
· Missouri City, Texas: 20160 Fort Bend Pkwy
· Syracuse, Utah: 1207 W. 1700 S
Community Impact Remains Central
EōS continued its commitment to community engagement throughout the first quarter with targeted initiatives focused on access and inclusion. Among these efforts was the inaugural Cardinals Climb at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, where EōS sponsored the event and raised $28,000 through donations for nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Arizona Cardinals players joined EōS team members and members to complete fitness routes in the stadium, creating an event designed to promote movement while supporting a meaningful cause.
“When fitness steps outside the gym and into the community, it creates something bigger,” said Shilpi Sullivan, chief marketing officer of EōS Fitness. “Cardinals Climb reflects how we show up by bringing people together through movement while supporting causes that matter. Creating access to fitness should lead to real impact, and this event shows what can happen when that belief is put into action.”
